Lydia trained at Trinity Laban, graduating in 2015 with a First Class (BA Hons) Degree in Contemporary Dance.  Upon graduating, Lydia moved to Copenhagen, Denmark to work with critically acclaimed Danish Dance Theatre for the season 15/16.

On return to the UK, Lydia went on to develop herself as an independent artist and choreographer. Lydia has also developed and performed a series of short dance films for Kein Magazine and The Roundhouse, where she met Piedad Albarracin Seiquer and later went on to perform alongside. Most notably in her freelance career Lydia partnered with Madison Capel-Bird, founding their duo-company SISTA SISTA. The company went on to perform in Birmingham Introducing, SASS Women’s Event in aid of the Women's Solace Charity, Whitechapel Gallery’s Guest Projects and Stockholm Fringe Festival. SISTA SISTA recently collaborated with fashion collective 'Design Congregation' to develop and fashion film collaboration and live performance.  Lydia has also collaborated with mixed medium artists such as Hannah Perry & Harriet Middleton-Baker (The War Room, an Opera!). Additional projects include collaborations with Shelley Eva Haden (SEH Company) on the performance 'PINK'. Moreover, Lydia appeared as the 'Undecided Voter' in a short film featured in DAZED DIGITAL & ELLE, directed and choreographed by Rachel Ní Bhraonáin. Lydia performed in a new work by Tamara Henderson for ART NIGHT LONDON in collaboration with the Hayward Gallery. Film work has included CRIB PRESENTS x SISTA SISTA for an upcoming short & Design Congregation x SISTA SISTA for DAZED. Lydia choreographed a collaborative piece with artist Harriet Middleton Baker & Rachael Davies with Madison Capel-Bird under their duo company SISTA SISTA.

Through out 2019 Lydia has worked predominantly within music video promo, both behind the camera as well as in-front of it. Lydia has assisted Simon Donnellon on promos with Sigrid, Gabrielle Aplin & JP Cooper, YAMAMAY & Eden. In front of the camera Lydia danced a duet in the 70’s extravaganza for the Friendly Fires comeback for their hit single ‘SILOHOUETTES’ as well as AU/RA - ‘Dance in the Dark’ (both choreographed by Alexandra Green). Live work includes television performance for Iranian artist GOLA. Lydia also works closely with photographers as a movement director.

With an avid passion for Yoga, Lydia is also a 790hr RYT, specialising in Rocket & Mandala Vinyasa & Pregnancy Yoga.
